The La Glace Fire Hall
The new La Glace Fire Hall is now operational for the County of Grande Prairie.
The fire hall cost just over $2 million and provides double the space of the previous facility constructed in 1994. Thirteen fire fighters work out of the station.
The new building includes space for training, public education, meeting, maintenance, office needs as well as equipment and apparatus storage. In addition, the fire hall has a dedicated area for equipment decontamination to increase safety.
